This one time at Band Camp:

- We all survived 3 consecutive days of the high 30°c (86°f) weather without air conditioning

- We’d wake up at 6am to take a shower before anyone else and we ran to see the sunrise over the meadow.

- I had a sugar high during my one and only official break from all the rehearsals.

- We watched the Blair Witch Project while sitting outside in the woods. 

- We had a lot of cordial shots.

- We ate outside for lunch because there wasn’t enough room inside but our excuse was that it was cooler outside and it was lunch with a view. They were both true.

- Alanah (@the-ducky-tie) and I sang ‘Nothing Suits Me Like A Suit’ every day.

- We stood on the tin roof of a building.

- Tahlia (@you-matter-kurt) and I re-enacted the ‘I’m flying’ scene from Titanic.

- We admired the view from the chapel that overlooked the meadow.
